Position Summary

Responsible for daily accounts payable processing of invoices for Enable Midstream Partners, LP and its subsidiaries. Duties will include preparing, processing and posting accounts payable invoices into SAP, monitoring Accounts Payable e-mail account, responding to inquiries, preparing and scanning accounts payable invoices into SAP. The employee will be responsible for understanding procure-to-pay processes, invoice verification processes and various company policies.

 

This position is comprised of routine duties based on detailed instruction.  Works under direct supervision.  Responds to routine questions and problems within standards and guides.  Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•    Prepare accounts payable documents for entry.
•    Enter vendor invoices into SAP.
•    Perform corrections/reversals as needed.
•    Prepare and scan accounts payable documents in SAP.
•    Verify scanned documents for accuracy.
•    Monitor the Accounts Payable e-mail account and respond to routine inquiries from internal/external customers.
•    Monitor invoice workload in the SAP workflow to ensure timely payment processing.
•    Respond to various inquires (phone calls, e-mails, etc.) from vendors and internal customers.
•    Reconcile vendor statements to ensure aged invoices are received and properly recorded for financial statement purposes.
•    Anticipate and investigate invoice and payment issues and provide appropriate recommendations.
•    Participate in meetings to discuss accounts payable department issues and assist in creating/implementing solutions. 
•    Effectively utilize automation tools to streamline the department’s processes.
•    Promote a team environment that focuses on supporting other employees to ensure departmental success.

Minimum Education & Experience

•    High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
•    Valid State Driver's License.

•    Knowledge of organizational procedures, administrative policies and procedures.
•    Oral and written communications skills to communicate with various level throughout the organization and outside professionals.

Physical Requirements

•    Sedentary to light work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
•    Ability to bend and stoop for filing.
•    Ability to view computer screen, sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
•    Ability to operate a computer, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
•    Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Working Conditions

•    Ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment with high daily pressure to meet deadlines.
•    Ability to work non-standard work hours as needed or required to meet established deadlines.
•    Ability to work indoors, in an office environment, regardless of whether cubicle, open office or private office.
•    Subject to normal office noise levels.
